Hot Dish for July

Welcome to another edition of the Hot Dish!

Summer is in full swing here in the United States, and down here in the South things are sizzling. Not to be outdone by another woman (you know, Mother Nature is pretty powerful), I have chosen a pretty hot fella for you to check out this month. First, let me tell you how I found him. And no, I wasn't stalking!!!

Actually, I was watching television while doing some work and happened to catch a glimpse of an ad for a show on HBO. The title of the show had me giggling. The name -- HUNG. Yes, it really is HUNG! *giggle* You know where my mind went. I'm giggling while I type! LOL! Sorry, it doesn't take much for me :-)

Needless to say I had to do a little research and find out about this show. The show is about a good looking divorced dad who is having financial problems and struggling to provide for his children, so he obtains a second job using his BEST asset. *giggling again*

May I introduce you to the leading man on HUNG, actor Thomas Jane.

Not much else to say . . .

I'm trying to think of some type of question to ask, but I just keep giggling about the show's name. LOL! Sorry!

Let me know what you think of this month's Hot Dish.

  4. Great choice, Buffie! When I switched to satellite TV I got three free months of HBO so you know I had to go check out this show. Let me just say this it's very aptly named! *vbg*

Sadly, my three months are over so I no longer get my weekly fix of HUNG but...smart cookie that I am...I have three month's worth of shows sitting happily on the DVR to enjoy at my leisure. :)

  5. Good thing I already have the A/C running! ;) Wait, I need to go get a fan, too.

I don't have HBO, so have never seen the show or the man before. But, der, I am slow on the uptake today because I didn't even wrap my brain around "hung" until I read your whole post, Buffie. !!

  10. Veeeery nice Buffie, very nice indeed!

I liked both pictures, obviously, but it was the black and white that really struck me. I don't know if it's just me, but I tend to find black and white photographs a lot more compelling sometimes than color photos, especially with portraits. I think for me, it just captures the personality and essence of a person better.

But LOL over the name of the show! I don't get HBO, so I've never seen it.

  11. Buffie, I can practically hear you giggling. :-)

I do get HBO and have seen clips for "Hung", but I haven't watched it yet. As hot as Thomas Jane is, I may just have to tune in and see if he "fits" the title. LOL

This is exactly why I like black and white pictures so much, Lisa. You hit right on it!

  18. Thanks, Lisa! I am in agreement with you about black and white photos. They are my favorite. But when I found both of this pictures, I just couldn't choose one . . . and why should I??? LOL!

  20. What, nobody remembers him as "The Punisher"?

I've seen a couple of episodes. It was okay. I didn't go out of my way to watch this series though, but it has no bearing on Thomas Jane's inherent hotness.

  21. Buffie, what a terrific and mature choice. I'm not taken with Hung, I have to admit, but I do like this actor.

  22. Cories, I remember the Punisher. I bought it because Thomas Jane was so good in it.
