We both had pets when we were growing up and wanted our kids to have the same experience. So they had fish in an aquarium. Unfortunately the heater malfunctioned and it killed them all. So they received a box turtle. We kept Tootie in the aquarium and in the evening we would let her out to walk around the place. We had her for several years.
