I read quite a lot that were published through Harlequin because Harlequin Mills and Boon has always been the most visible romance presence in our bookshops here. Indeed, I have an entire bookshelf exclusively for them! Whenever I reread one, I am newly amazed at how much those authors crammed into such a short page count.
