October is one of my favorite months of the year. Football is in full swing, morning temperatures are a bit cooler, Halloween is just around the corner, fall colors are in abundance, and holiday romances are launching around every corner. I mean, come on, what's not to like about October, right? Here at The Romance Dish it's going to be a very busy month with lots of new titles to share. Get ready to fill your romance reading lists!
Santa will be here on Tuesday, October 3 to share her thoughts about Play for Me by Libby Hubscher. Santa says this new romcom is "as satisfying as the decadent cream filling and crispy crunch of a cannoli." Yum!
Wednesday, October 4 brings a review of Wilde Love by Jennifer Ryan. This first book in Ryan's new Dark Horse Dive Bar series features the swoony romance, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and heart-tugging emotion I love in her books.
Thursday, October 5 brings a review of Sheila Roberts' newest holiday women's fiction novel. Stop by to read my thoughts about The Twelve Months of Christmas.
Stop by Friday, October 6 for Hellie's review - and a giveaway - of Faking Christmas by Kerry Winfrey. Hellie calls this one a "true throwback to rom-coms."
I will be sharing my thoughts about The Florist on Amelia Island on Saturday, October 7. This fourth book in Hope Holloway's Seven Sisters series brings all the warmth, emotion, and heart-tugging hope I've come to expect from this series.
Tuesday, October 10 brings a review of Dreaming of a Duke Like You by Sara Bennett. With a tag line of "A duke with a reputation to uphold and a woman with a scandalous past take a gamble on their forbidden love in this Regency romance" you have to know I'm salivating to get my hands on this new historical romance.
It's time for Christmas at the Shelter Inn on Wednesday, October 11. Join me when I share my thoughts about this newest holiday novel by RaeAnne Thayne. Knowing Thayne, it's sure to be an emotional, hopeful journey. I'm looking forward to it.
It's time for another Coastal Magic Featured Author Spotlight on Thursday, October 12. Stop by to meet Maida Malby, learn about her books, and discover why October is a very special month in her life.
Friday, October 13 brings Santa's review of Sister of the Bride. a new romcom by Lauren Morrill. Get ready for family chaos, friends to lovers romance, and a oodles of lasagna.
It's Christmas at Corgi Cove on Wednesday, October 18. Stop by to read a review of this sweet and sassy holiday novel by Annie England Noblin.
Hellie returns on Thursday, October 19 with a review of Unrealistic Expectations, a spicy romantic comedy by Andie J. Christopher.
I'll be returning to River's Edge for the final book in Nan Reinhardt's Weaver Sisters trilogy on Friday, October 20. Join me as I share my thoughts about Christmas in River's Edge, a second-chance romance between single mom Jenny Weaver and high school nerd turned grown-up professorial heartthrob, Gabe Dawson.
We'll be wrapping up another trilogy on Monday, October 23 when I share my thoughts about Miranda Liasson's The Sweetheart Crush. I'm excited to discover what Liasson has in store for youngest Montgomery sister, Viv and her former best friend, Logan.
Tuesday, October 24 brings a review of The Duke Starts a Scandal, the final book in Sophie Jordan's Duke Hunt series. I can't wait to find out what Lucian, the newly minted duke, and his uber-efficient housekeeper, Susanna get up to in this one.
Are you read to be Snowed in for Christmas? Stop by Wednesday, October 25 for a review of this new holiday romcom by Jacqueline Snowe. Forced proximity for the win!
We're heading back to Edinburgh on Friday, October 27 with a review and giveaway of Jenny Colgan's Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop. I loved last year's story, The Christmas Bookshop and am eager to dive into this follow-up.
Rounding out the month on Monday, October 30 will be a review of A Dish Best Served Hot by Natalie Caña. I'm looking forward to this second book in Caña's Vega Family Love Stories series.

There are several books, like the Jenny Colgan book, which makes my heart go pitty-pat. Again, so many books, so little time. I am currently reading Faking Christmas by Kerry Winfrey—Christmas in Connecticut but with twin sisters—and it is making me so happy.
ReplyDeleteThis month is all about the Halloween and fall themed books. I know what you mean about loving October. My birthday is October 8th and my daughter's is October 10th so it is a big birthday month for my family.
ReplyDeleteOctober is going to be heavy on contemporaries. Historicals and intrigues tend to be my favorites, but the rom coms and contemporary stories for this month are a nice selection. I am looking forward to Sheila Roberts' new Christmas book, The Twelve Months Of Christmas. I never fail to thoroughly enjoy her books and they end up on my keeper shelf. RaeAnne Thayne, Miranda Liasson, and Nan Reinhardt are favorites. I will be checking out Midnight At The Christmas Bookshop sounds like my kind of story. Too bad I missed last year's book. I am so ready to start Christmas books, even of it is early. I hope this month will bring more time to read.
