The germs won...

Hello, everyone!

I'm sorry to say the flu virus has found me.

The positive news is I have good meds and hopefully will start feeling

better within a week.

The bad news is one of the effects of this virus is a debilitating headache.

I haven't been able to read and am not sure when I will be able to.

Fingers crossed it won't be long.

The reviews I've already written will be posted as scheduled in Coming Attractions.

However, those books I had not finished reading when this

virus struck will be delayed. I'm so sorry.

  1. I hope you feel better soon. Your health is more important than posting a review, so take care of yourself first.

  2. Oh No! Take care of yourself -- we can wait for reviews they aren't as important as you and your health! I hope you feel better soon and that the stinking headache goes away.

  3. Feel better soon! Take your time and get plenty of rest; headaches are impossible to push through. The books will be there when you’ve fully recovered, as will we!

  4. Ow! I had covid last year with the debilitating headache. I took so many pills I was afraid of an accidental overdose...(ugh. just what I didn't need.) At 1:30 in the early morning one night the headache got so bad I could not sleep. So I got up, filled a baggie with ice cubes and put it on my head for the next 6 hours. After you finish laughing, I will tell you that it worked. The fever was down and the headache nearly gone at 7:30 when I emerged from the chair where I had been lounging. Good luck, and get well soon!

  11. I am so sorry. But, resting and sleeping and being absolutely in charge of getting yourself better is a great idea. Take care and God Bless.
