The last month of 2023 has arrived. Is it just me or did this year fly by in the blink of an eye? It needs to slow down so I can read all the wonderful books being published. And speaking of books, here's what's on the schedule for December.
We launch the month on Friday, December 1 with a review of Balancing Act, book two in Emily March's heartwarming new Lake in the Clouds series.
Saturday, December 2 brings a review of The Asheville Christmas Wedding, book three in the feel-good Carolina Christmas series co-written by Hope Holloway and Cecelia Scott.
Who wants a cowboy for Christmas? Join me Tuesday, December 5 when I share my thoughts about The Cowboy Whisperer by Sabrina Sol. I am all over this handsome, broody, Mexican-American cowboy...and he has brothers!
I'm going back in time on Thursday, December 7 with a review of Art of the Chase by Tracy Brogan. This Gilded Age historical takes readers back to Trillium Bay, site of Brogan's popular contemporary romance series.
Santa returns on Monday, December 11 with a review of Technically Yours, a second-chance romcom by Denise Williams.
Stop by Saturday, December 9 for a review of Merry Christmas, Montana by Elsa Winckler. This was my first book by Winckler but it won't be my last.
Join me on Friday, December 8 for a review and giveaway of Christmas with a Cowboy by Pam Mantovani. This is the seventh book in Mantovani's Burton Springs series but stands well on its own. Fair warning though: now that I've read it, I'll be getting books 1-6, pronto.
Do you enjoy forced proximity romance with a couple surrounded by a love bundle of high-energy, adorable, rescue dogs? If so, you won't want to miss my review of Housebroke by Jaci Burton on Tuesday, December 12.
Wednesday, December 13 brings a review of Virginia Kantra's newest modern adaptation of a beloved classic. Join me when I share my thoughts about The Fairytale Life of Dorothy Gale.
Join me for another Coastal Magic Spotlight when I welcome Seressia Glass on Thursday, December 14. Glass's newest romcom, Game On, releases on December 12.
Our second Coastal Magic Spotlight on Monday, December 18 features Jeanne Adams. Her newest story, "Intrigue in Althor", is a novella included in the new Mercedes Lackey anthology: Anything With Nothing.
We're rounding out the month on Wednesday, December 27 with a review of You're the Duke That I Want by Lenora Bell. I'm loving these new historical romances by Bell that are inspired by popular movies. Anyone want to guess which movie inspired this book?

ReplyDeleteWe celebrate Christmas. We always have the plum pudding and Christmas crackers. I'm having family over this year. A few books that I have on hand to read are The Breakaway by Jennifer Weiner, Where the Light Enters by Sara Donati, Latitude of Longings by Shubhangi Swarup, The Lost English Girl by Julia Kelly, and The Edge by David Baldacci.
ReplyDeleteOur grandson turns 7 this month, so that will be our first celebration. The. I have all of our family over on Christmas Day. Love the holidays! I’m looking forward to all of the Christmas romances this month!!

ReplyDeleteI celebrate Christmas. A tradition I look forward to is our family Christmas tea party. I have stack of Christmas books I am reading through. The one I am currently reading is His Holiday Matchmaker by Kat Brookes.
ReplyDeleteCelebrating Christmas. Do the tree and make special sugar cookies with our granddaughter, did it on Sunday. Looking forward to the Holloway book and and I think you had a March book listed. Right now finishing up Malinda Martin - Sleep in Heavenly Peace Inn, there are 2 others in the series. This one is book 1 and came out 2013.
ReplyDeleteChristmas and we're too old for New Year's Eve lol. We've already had our tree trimming party. But the best news is that I've been reading up a storm and am always looking for new ones! Oh and just finished my first Christmas book of the season - The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews.

ReplyDeleteI did not get to celebrate Christmas last year, and it appears that will be the way it is this year. I am making do with the music of the season. And eggnog, plain eggnog. I love the books you have ready for us this month. So many are by new to me authors and they all look interesting. Thanks for the list of still to come books. I hope everyone is planning to have a wonderful holiday season. And for some of you, it is near, so Happy Hanukkah. And I hope that everyone will be safe and happy.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be celebrating Christmas this year and I am looking forward to baking day with my adult children. This year our daughter's partner will be joining us as well! As always, I've got a random assortment of holiday anthologies, and individual holiday books sitting on my TBR. I've added several of these to my Christmas wish list. I had Lenora Bell's latest on preorder already.

ReplyDeleteWe will sort of be celebrating Christmas this year. We have a serious illness in the family so our focus is elsewhere. We are taking a long planned trip that couldn't be canceled. We will try to get the family together some time between Christmas and New Year. We always have a mini celebration on Epiphany and that may be our Christmas this year.
I have moved most of my Christmas books to my new kindle. One is an anthology and I might start with that one. I have been too busy to think about it.
