This is one of my favorite months of the year and for the first time in many years, I can happily say on December 1st that I am finished with my Christmas shopping. I have three packages left to mail and Christmas cards to write but, other than that, I am free to enjoy the holiday season and all the good books waiting for me. Here's what will be happening at The Romance Dish during this final month of 2024.
Join me on Tuesday, December 3 for a review and giveaway of Designs on You by Jaci Burton. This heart-tugging contemporary follows last year's Housebroke with a new story featuring Natalie and Eugene, the sister of Hazel and brother of Linc, the main couple from Housebroke, along with endearing kids and adorable rescue dogs.
Stop by on Wednesday, December 4 for Nancy's review and a giveaway of Under Loch and Key, a Scottish paranormal by Lana Ferguson.
Friday, December 6 brings Santa's review and a giveaway of PS: I Hate You, a new romcom by Lauren Connolly.
Don't miss my review of No Ordinary Duchess on Tuesday, December 10. It's been a while since we've had a new historical romance from Elizabeth Hoyt!
We're heading back to Alaska on Wednesday, December 11 with a review of Flirting With Alaska. This is book two in Belle Calhoune's heartwarming Moose Falls, Alaska series.
Tracy Solheim joins me on Thursday, December 12 for a Coastal Magic 2025 Featured Author Spotlight. Solheim's newest book, Take Me Home for Christmas (12/12/24), takes readers back to Chances Inlet and another heartwarming romance on the Carolina coast.
Monday, December 16 brings a review and giveaway of The Author's Guide to Murder by Beatriz Williams, Lauren Willig, and Karen White. These three always hit it out of the park.
It's another Coastal Magic 2025 Featured Author Spotlight on Tuesday, December 17 when Sera Taino joins us for a Q&A featuring her Navarro family contemporary romance trilogy.
Just in time for Christmas, join me on Monday, December 23 for a review and giveaway of Anne Gracie's The Secret Daughter. This historical romance is the fourth book in Gracie's The Brides of Bellaire Gardens series.

ReplyDeleteYour selection of books tempt me greatly. I look forward to many wonderful novels which will keep me busy. I read a great deal during the holidays. I don;t send out cards but love receiving them.
ReplyDeleteI'm still working my way thru Laura Lippman's Tess Monaghan series, then I'll be ready for something lighter - I'd love the copy Of Susan Mallery's One Big Happy Family. Not sure if I want to climb into the attic to get the Christmas cards out - but I suppose I'll have to in order to send a few.
ReplyDeletemeant to change my posting name from Anonymous to Diane Sallans (sigh)
DeleteI read about the same as the rest of the year.

I have a pile of Christmas themed books I have started reading. I usually end up reading a little less due to being busier this month. I do send out Christmas cards. I emailed you my mailing address and I would be happy to send you one back.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem possible that this year is almost gone. They go by faster every year.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get some reading done this month, but other than grabbing a few short anthology stories, that may be all I get time to read. With the R. C. response to Helene, we pretty much lost at least 6 weeks. October was a blur. Now we are on to the winter fires. As a result I have a lot of catching up with housework to do. I need to try and get things ready for Christmas guests and dinner for the rest of the family. I think getting Christmas cards out this year will never make it to the top of the list. Sadly, I read much less during the holidays. There is too much to do and too many events to attend.
This month you have several authors you are highlighting that are favorites (Elizabeth Hoyt and Anne Gracie). Under Loch and Key sounds like a book I will enjoy. There are several others you will be highlighting that sound good.
I hope your month goes smoothly.
Any month that offers a new Anne Gracie AND a new Elizabeth Hoyt is a great month! And since I get through most of my reading via audiobooks, being super busy during the holidays actually allows me to listen to more - only the vacuum cleaner, the mixer, and the blender make me hit pause!
ReplyDeleteI’m looking forward to the Elizabeth Hoyt and Anne Gracie novels coming out this month!
ReplyDeleteI read a pretty even amount throughout the year. I don't have extra time off in Dec, so that doesn't translate to reading more. However, I have sooooo many Christmas books to read that I would like to read a book a day, if I can swing it. Love You a Latke was recommended in a Zoom review I went to last night. I enjoyed One Big Happy Family, too! Under Loch and Key is on my list to read, as well.
ReplyDeleteI read holiday themed books from about mid-November to early January, with a few "regular" books in between. Thinking about it, I probably read a little more fiction during the holiday season. "One Big Happy Family" was a fun read! I am looking forward to Elizabeth Hoyt's new book. It has been awhile.
