Two rival radio personalities. Lori Martin is a positive and upbeat DJ, known for playing love songs and dedications. Ben Baxter dishes out no-nonsense, in-your-face relationship advice. Total opposites. Never in a million years would they want to work together.

Fired for losing her cool after her boyfriend breaks up with her on the air, Lori surprisingly receives a job offer for the coveted morning show at the radio station across town where Ben works. She thinks she’s replacing him, but finds out they want to team up Lori with her archenemy to set the air waves on fire and boost ratings. Financially strapped, she can’t turn down the job.

While their on-air fireworks and explosive chemistry make for great listening, what in the world will happen after work hours? The new feel-good romantic comedy everyone is talking about!

PJ's Thoughts:

I'm not sure I stopped smiling during this entire book. In fact, I'm still smiling just thinking about it. That's the magic of Rich Amooi's writing. His characters, typically with some adult life experience (Lori and Ben are both 40), speak to me. His impeccable banter and comedic timing entertain me. Add in a satisfying depth of emotion, vibrant secondary characters (I adore Grandpa Wayne and Grandma Joyce!), realistic situations, and a hero and heroine who I can not only root for but want to be friends with, and we have another enjoyable story I want to read again and again.

Give Rich Amooi's Just Another Silly Love Song a try. It has my enthusiastic recommendation!

  1. I started reading this last night. :-)

    1. I hope you're enjoying it as much as I did, Cheryl!

  2. On Facebook, he says his book It's Not PMS, It's You has a chance to be made into a movie.

    1. I voted for it. That book would make a great movie. It has a lot of heart but also a lot of humor. I stopped counting the number of times it made me laugh out loud about halfway through.

    2. Yes, it would be perfect as a movie. I voted too.

  3. I look forward to starting this book. I am so glad it is my prize for being idea...but glad I won the book.

Hope everyone is staying safe and taking care.

  4. I loved it as well. I hope I can be like Grandma Joyce when I am 80. 👵😄

  5. It's on my kindle waiting for me!! Thanks for the review PJ.

  6. Just bought it as I just finished a book. I could read a book right now that makes me laugh.
