New Releases for June

School is out and summer is here! It’s also vacation time! My husband, kids, and I just got home from our very first cruise and we had an absolute blast! (I’ll talk more about that in a later blog.) I was able to get a little reading done on the drive to and from Tampa…but I wasn’t able to read much on the ship. *g* And speaking of reading, it’s time for the June releases! I have read a few June books, such as: Rescue Me by Rachel Gibson, Bedding Lord Ned by Sally MacKenzie, and Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis. I loved them all! I’m about to start A Night Like This by Julia Quinn and am super excited for this next installment of the Smythe-Smith family! I’m also looking forward to Jacked Up by Erin McCarthy and Along Came a Duke by Elizabeth Boyle.

Which June releases have you read? Of those, which ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Tell us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!

Until July, happy reading!

  12. SO many call to me. :) I think the one who's pulled at my inner self the most is The King’s Concubine by Anne O’Brien. I was lucky enough to get to read an ARC of A Scandalous Scot by Karen Ranney and I LOVED it! There were parts that had me busting with laughter and following these two was such a wonderful journey. Morgan has some major trust issues and Jean is just the one to break through them. This was a fun read and will pull at your heartstrings too. Yep, Morgan and Jean are cozy in that special place of my heart that favorite characters go.

My daughter got married on the 26th and they went on a cruise to the Bahamas and it was her first cruise. She loved it and I think she has been bitten by the "Cruise Bug" because they are already planning one for next year. I can't wait to hear about yours. I've always wanted to take one.

  14. I just got turned on to Historical romance esp. Regencies--right now I am reading "The Heir" by Grace Burrowes and it just blows me away. I was a contemporary fan until a few weeks ago but now I don't really know what I saw in them. I am probably in a mood to escape reality but I can't see myself going for Paranormal, ever! I want something with one foot in reality.

Please enter me in your giveway and I hope to win somethong "HR"
