I'm definitely on a historical kick.
I am SO craving a good historical, Laurie. I've read a lot of contemps lately (for review) and I am dying to read a historical. :)
DeleteI haven't read any of the December releases but a bunch of them look good including Obsession Wears Opals by Renee Bernard, The Importance of Being Wicked by Miranda Neville and The Bridegroom Wore Plaid by Grace Burrowes.
ReplyDeleteI love Renee Bernard's Jaded Gentlemen series, Maureen. It's really good!
DeleteOnce again, oodles of fabulous books, not nearly enough time to read them all!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't have said it better myself, PJ!
DeleteHere are a couple digital self-published books out this month: Bewitching the Duke by Christie Kelley (Dec. 6) and The Patrician by Joan Kayse (Nov. 24 - not December but close enough).
ReplyDeleteI read and loved the Kelley book (review coming) and have the Kayse on my tbr.
I'm also loving all the Christmas novellas coming out this month!
Thanks, PJ!
DeleteMy December list is shorter than usual, Andrea. I've read The Bridegroom Wore Plaid by Grace Burrowes, How to Deceive a Duke by Lecia Cornwall, and The Importance of Being Wicked by Miranda Neville. Bewitching the Duke and The Patrician are on my Kindle, PJ, and the following are on my TBB list:

Ripe for Seduction –Isobel Carr
Born to Scandal –Diane Gaston
What an Earl Wants –Kasey Michaels
A Private Duel with Agent Gunn – Jillian Stone
Vanity Fare – Megan Caldwell
Finding Home – Lois Greiman
I think I've made up for the short December list by having already read 18 January releases with quite a few still to read when they are released. I've also been rereading a lot of Christmas favorites.
Holy cow, Janga! You've read 18 January releases already? I wish I read faster. lol
Deletehmm.. only several wanted books this month. but since i'm planning to start harry dresden series this month, i think i'll recommend Cold Days by Jim Butcher :D
ReplyDeleteOh, sounds good, sienny!
DeleteI haven't read any of these yet, but high on my list are The Bridegroom Wore Plaid (Burrowes,) and The Importance of Being Wicked (Neville.) And I have a huge TBR list to work on!
ReplyDeleteYou and me both, LSUReader!
DeleteThanks so much for listing and sharing all of these new goodies. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to read any December releases as yet, however, "The Bridegroom Wore Plaid" is the first one I plan to grab.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it, Connie!
DeleteSo many great books! Miranda's Importance was great and I'm looking forward to reading Erin knightly's book too! I believe Courtney Milan's Duchess War will be out shortly too. But now may be the time for some favortie holiday re-reads. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous, Lisa! Though, I just started a January book set during winter/Christmas time. :)
DeleteI want all the historicals and then the romantic suspense and then the paranormals...lol. If I had to pick just one I am going with Grace Burrowes and The Bridegroom Wore Plaid. I just finished Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight and enjoyed it and since I love those Scottish historicals, I know it's going to be good!
ReplyDeleteGrace's books get lots of good buzz, catslady. I've yet to read any, but it sounds like I need to!
DeleteI'm a big fan of Beth Kery, so I'm excited! Also, just all of these. All of them ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeth is such a sweet person, too!
DeleteLooking forward to Miranda Neville's latest. and I just got Dakota Cassidy's and Kerrelyn Sparks new books. Can't wait I need more hours on the day! Lol! I love humorous books and these three authors deliver everytime! Thanks for sharing!

Deletehoping to do a little tbr pile tackling this month since its lite on releases. red Kiss of Surrender as soon as it downloaded on the e-reader -- I so enjoy Sandra's offbeat humor. Hammer Down is pretty good (read that a few months ago after it came out as an ebook & looking forward to more in that series). Still need to pick up Miranda's the Importance of Being Wicked -- could be a good Christmas day read for me :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're able to catch up, gamistress!
DeleteThere are too many to mention on these lists that I would like to read. It will probably take me years to get to them, as usual.
