New Releases for August

I can’t believe it’s already August. Where has the summer gone?? My kids go back to school on Monday and while I’m not looking forward to getting up before 6:00, I am ready to be back into our regular routine.

Have you been watching the Olympics? I am a long-time card-carrying Summer Olympics junkie. I love it all—swimming, gymnastics, diving, volleyball, track and field, and more. Are you watching the Olympics? If so, what has been your favorite moment so far? I enjoyed watching the U.S. women’s gymnastics team win the gold and Michael Phelps become the most decorated Olympic athlete ever. J
It’s also time for the August new releases! I’ve read Forever and a Day by Jill Shalvis and loved it! Right now, I’m reading All Afternoon with a Scandalous Marquess by Alexandra Hawkins and enjoying this fifth book in the Lords of Vice series. I’m looking forward to Dream Lake by Lisa Kleypas, How to Romance a Rake by Manda Collins, A Girl Like You by Maria Geraci, and Lessons from a Scandalous Bride by Sophie Jordan.
Which August releases have you read? Of those, which ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Tell us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!

Until September, happy reading!

  3. My eyes are huge and my heart is greedy as I look at this wonderful listing of books. I browsed (and fondled) the new books in Barnes and Noble the other day and played a little game with myself. OK. I can choose 10 books on the New Books display, so which ones do I want. Hard decision and then I always go over the max of 10. Sigh... Oh, but it's so much fun to see them and read the synopsis on the inside cover. It's a wonderful month we have (of books, that is). I think I need to win the lottery so I can afford to buy them all! :-)
