Coming Attractions

December is upon us, a month of shorter nights, cooler temperatures, joy, and celebration. And books. Don't forget the books! There are a number of holiday-themed stories available for your reading pleasure this month. Also, new books from favorite authors, and debuts from others you may not have heard of yet. I love discovering new - and new to me - authors, don't you? Here's what's on the schedule for the month of December.

Launching this festive month on Thursday, December 2 is a review of Saturday Santa by Kate Moore. This contemporary romance is filled with deep emotion, breath-stealing suspense, and a heroine and hero I pulled for the entire way.

Friday, December 3 brings a tour review of Christmas at Colt's Creek by Delores Fossen. This second-chance romance is book two in Fossen's Last Ride, Texas contemporary romance series.

Stop by Saturday, December 4 for an excerpt from The Redemption of Philip Thane by Lisa Berne and a chance to win one of two early copies of the book. This sixth book in Berne's Penhallow Dynasty, historical romance series is scheduled to be release on December 28 and can be enjoyed as a standalone.

It's another tour review on Monday, December 6. Stop by to read my thoughts about Cinderella and the Scarred Viscount by Sarah Mallory. I thoroughly enjoyed this Harlequin Historical by an author I had not read before.

Brenda Jackson takes readers back to Catalina Cove, Louisiana with One Christmas Wish. I've fallen head over heels for this small bayou town and her intriguing citizens. Stop by Tuesday, December 7 for my tour review of this newest contemporary romance from Jackson.

We're heading to England on Wednesday, December 8 for a tour review of A Cosy Countryside Christmas by Eliza J. Scott. This second-chance, reunion romance is set on the English Moors and filled with interesting characters and festive fun.

It's back to England again with a tour review of A Winter Wedding at Mistletoe Gate Farm by Helen J. Rolfe. Stop by Thursday, December 9 to read my thoughts about this new novel.

Be sure to visit Friday, December 10 for excerpts from Amazon's multi-author, holiday short story collection and a giveaway. Authors featured in the collection are J. Courtney Sullivan, Rainbow Rowell, Suzanne Redfearn, and Chandler Baker.

I'm eager to return to Magnolia Bay for another small-town contemporary romance by Babette de Jongh. Join me on Monday, December 13 when I share my thoughts about Magnolia Bay Memories

I look forward to a new holiday story from RaeAnne Thayne each year. Join me on Thursday, December 16 when I share my thoughts about Sleigh Bells Ring.

Friday, December 17 brings my tour review of Rodeo Christmas at Evergreen Ranch by Maisey Yates. This friends-to-lovers romance is sure to touch hearts and keep readers returning to Gold Valley for more.

Stop in on Monday, December 20 for my review of An Unexpected Distraction by Catherine Bybee. This newest addition to Bybee's Richter series looks to be a fast-paced story filled with romance, secrets, and suspense.

Hellie will be here on Tuesday, December 21 with a review of  Someone Perfect by Mary Balogh. I'll also be giving away a paperback copy of the book so don't miss this one!

Monday, December 27 brings my review of The True Cowboy of Sunset Ridge, another deeply-emotional story in Maisey Yates' Gold Valley series. This book features Colt Daniels, the rodeo-champion, emotionally-damaged, final member of the Daniels family to find his match and Mallory Chance, the newly-single, new-to-town midwife looking for a fresh start.

Visit me on Tuesday, December 28 when I share my thoughts about The Redemption of Philip Thane by Lisa Berne. Think Groundhog Day, Regency style.

Nancy joins us on Wednesday, December 29 with a review of The Love Con by Seressia Glass. This contemporary romcom is getting a lot of pre-publication love from early readers.
