Things are finally getting settled around my house as we’ve gotten back into our daily routine with school back in session. One of the things I always make sure of is that my children read a little bit each day, whether it’s one page, one chapter, or one book, depending on the amount of homework they have. I feel very blessed that they have followed in my footsteps and love reading as much as I do! And speaking of reading, here’s my list of New Releases for September!
So far, I have read Kissing Comfort by Jo Goodman—awesome book!—and Ecstasy Wears Emeralds by Renee Bernard. I loved them both! Look for my review of Ecstasy Wears Emeralds tomorrow and my review of Kissing Comfort later in the month. Night Falls on the Wicked by Sharie Kohler is also one that I enjoyed and recommend. Right now, I’m reading In the Arms of a Marquess by Katharine Ashe (my first by her) and am enjoying it very much! Other new releases I’m looking forward to are: A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare, Lord and Lady Spy by Shana Galen, Romancing the Countess by Ashley March (thanks to Buffie’s review), and Good Girls Don’t by Victoria Dahl.
Which September releases have you read? Of those, which ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Tell us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!
Until October, happy reading!

It was wonderful, I really do lover Jennifer Blake. I loved the Masters of Arms series and could hardly wait for this new one. They are not as "wordy" as the Masters of Arms but very satisfying.
gamistress66 said: have Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue – Stephanie Laurens sitting ready to be read as soon as I finish my current book.
ReplyDeleteI love her Cynsters!!
I hope you enjoy them, Danielle!
ReplyDeleteLOL, marybelle! You may be as ambitious as you want, my dear!
ReplyDeleteOh, Flora, that is a wonderful dream! Cynsters and Smythe-Smiths!
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Sheree! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dianna. I've never read a Jennifer Blake book before, so I'm very curious about them. I may have to check this new series out!
ReplyDeleteI just read and absolutely adored Rose Lerner's new book, A Lily Among Thorns, which I reviewed here. It felt really refreshingly different from most of the Regencies I've read recently - I love that it has a hero who's a tailor, not a nobleman! And I looooved the dialogue between the hero and heroine.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many great books coming, but I'm looking forward to reading these in particular:
ReplyDeleteMidnight – Ellen Connor
Aftermath – Ann Aguirre
Blood Rules – Christine Cody
One Grave at a Time – Jeaniene Frost
The Hour of Dust and Ashes – Kelly Gay

September is always a big
"reading" month for me with my husband monopolizing the TV with all the baseball and football games!
A lot of great books going to the store to get the new Christina Dodd book cant' wait to start it...
ReplyDeleteI so look forward to this list! I have read the Cathy Maxwell, I certainly recommend that! Am reading the Katherine Ashe now! I want to read the Jenny Brown, I adored the first book in the series~
ReplyDeleteeatingchocolatereadingromance (love the name!), that sounds like a wonderful story! And I, too, adore stories that feature a hero who isn't a nobleman. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Barbara E! I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteJeanne M said: September is always a big "reading" month for me with my husband monopolizing the TV with all the baseball and football games!
ReplyDeleteJeanne, I can't say that because I'm a big sports fan so I'm sitting right there next to my husband! LOL! Enjoy your books!
Ooooh, sounds good, deerdoe69!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karyn! I'll be picking up Cathy's book on my next trip to the bookstore. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to so many on the Historical List. I've read Kissing Comfort and loved it too - it certainly had a more unusual setting. I haven't read a Mideval in a while, so maybe I'll look for one of those next.
ReplyDeleteHaven't read any of these. I am still trying to catch up from months (years!) ago. There are some good ones on the list I am interested in, especially in the historical and contemporary suspense categories. I spent the day cleaning and moving book cases and books, so now is not a good time to talk about getting more : )
