Anyway, between that trip, work, and planning/prepping
for RWA in a little over a week, I haven’t had time to do any serious reading…except
for maps. LOL! I am dying to read
Julie Anne Long’s It Happened One
Midnight. Hopefully, I’ll have time to do so soon!
Which July releases have you read? Of those, which
ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Tell
us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!
Until August, happy reading!

DeleteThat's going to be my post at Just Janga tomorrow, Andrea, and I don't want to give too much away. LOL I will say that you are right about the JAL.
DeleteCan't wait to read it, Janga!
DeleteI am really looking to reading A Hero to Come Home to by Marilyn Pappano as well as new ones from Susan Mallery and Jill Gregory and Lori Wilde's All Out of Love.
ReplyDeleteGmapeony@yahoo.com
I hope you enjoy them, Gmapeony!
DeleteI am really looking forward to reading It happened one midnight too. Love Julie Anne Long's series. I am especially dying to read Lyon's story to when it finally comes out... whenever that will be!
ReplyDeleteOh, May, I am right there with you! I am dying for Lyon's story!!
DeleteI haven't read much either for the last month....I don't know if I'm in a slump or what, but nothing seemed to interest me enough to pick it up for long. I have been going to and fro and have had 2 classes in the last month, so maybe my interest will perk up a bit now. I haven't read a Lynsay Sands book for a long time, so perhaps will pick up her new one AEBIS.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I always say, "I am going to have so much time to read this summer."....and then I don't. So hopefully once school starts back I will. Lol
DeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful suggestions! I highly recommend The Hunter by Monica McCarty! It is Captivating and Breathtaking 7 stars for this novel!
ReplyDeleteoops, I forgot to mention that I adored also In the Arms of the Heiress written by Maggie Robinson! it's another captivating story that I highly recommend! Happy reading!
DeleteOh! Thanks for the recs, Nicole! They are always welcome here. :)
Deletethanks. Great books. Rutherford park is my choice.
ReplyDeleteSounds good, petite!
DeleteMy goodness. All of these are so special. Looking forward to The Mourning Hours and so many others.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it, traveler!
DeleteI just finished It Happened One Midnight by JAL. I liked it, but not quite as much as I liked What I Did For a Duke and A Notorious Countess Confesses. I'm not sure why this is when there were so many great scenes in this book. Jonathan's interactions with his father and Tommy's story behind the medal were really well-done, but the emotional intensity wasn't quite there for me. I am now reading A Woman Entangled by Cecilia Grant.
ReplyDeleteKim, I absolutely adored What I Did For a Duke. I hope you enjoy AWE!
DeleteAs usual, I am way behind in my reading. But not for lack of trying lol. I would love to read all the historicals and some of the romantic suspense and paranormals!!
ReplyDeleteThere are too many to choose from, catslady!
DeleteI'm looking forward to reading The Sweet Spot by Laura Drake which has been released a few months ago, I think. And for this month I'm anticipating Brenda Joyce's A Rose in the Storm. It's been awhile since I read her books and I miss her historicals.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it, Na!
DeleteJulie Anne Long's It Happened One Midnight tops my list. I'm also looking forward to reading Bekman (Grace Burrowes,) Exposed (Laura Griffin,) The 9th Girl (Tami Hoag,) and Fifth Grave Past the Light (Darynda Jones.) Thanks for the list.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it, LSUReader. And you are welcome!
DeleteI'm a huge Lisa Marie Rice fan so I'm very excited about reading her new release and also Laura Griffin's "Exposed."
ReplyDeleteI've not read her (LMR) books before, Jane, but have heard great things about them!
DeleteThe Taming of Ryder Cavanaugh – Stephanie Laurens is on top of the pile & in this wknd's reading plans for me :)

ReplyDeleteJAL's seems to be anticipated by many, Barbara!
DeleteI cannot believe we are halfway through this year already. I'm still to read any of these books. As per usual all the Historical books make my reading list.
