Taking a Break

Okay, we're not really fishing.  More like shopping, baking, working and decorating for Christmas.  Gannon, Andrea and Buffie are spending time with their families this holiday weekend and PJ is working dawn to dusk at her department store job (this is the biggest shopping weekend of the year in the States) so the Dishes are taking a couple days off from the blog.  But don't despair!  We'll be back Monday for another great week, including a visit on Tuesday from Connie Brockway.

See you then!

It's been crazy, Dalila! I worked 2:00am - 2:30pm yesterday and had to be back at the store at 7am this morning. Just finished day two of the craziness. Two more to go!

There's a familiar name from my past! Dick Biondi was one of my favorite DJs on WLS out of Chicago during my teen years. :)

  5. Hope you get all your stuff done, Dishes. Pj take good care of yourself! I put myself through college by working summers and holidays at See's Candies, a chain of very popular candy/chocolates here in SoCal. What I remember most: oh my aching feet! Take care.

See's Candies are fabulous! I was introduced to them on a business trip many years ago and fell instantly in love. ;-)

My feet are definitely aching but, surprisingly not as bad as I had anticipated. My new shoes (Alegria) are helping! Two long days down, two more to go before I get a day off. Hoping for happy customers today! :)
