It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas...everywhere you go... It certainly looks like Christmas in my house! Our tree is up, my Christmas CDs are playing in our van, and my kids are counting down the days. I may not be a fan of winter, but I do love Christmas. To me, it is quality time spent with those I love, and also giving to those who are in need. And it's the best time to give/get a gift card for books!
Speaking of books... Have you had a chance to read any December releases yet? If so, which ones do you recommend? Which books are you most looking forward to reading? Tell us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!
Until January, happy reading!

I haven't any of the December releases, but I'm really looking forward to Joyce Lamb's "True Shot." I loved the first two books in the series.
ReplyDeleteThe only one I have read so far is Larissa Ione's IMMORTAL RIDER! If you are a fan of her's you will LOVE this book! If you have not read any of her books, I would great suggest you do so! The Demonica series and now the Lords of Deliverance are wonderful paranormals!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get my hands on "The Scottish Prisoner"
ReplyDeleteby Diana Gabaldon. Unfortunatly I am referring to the book here. I can still dream about getting my hands on the "real" Scottish Prisoner, Jaime Fraser, sigh!
To Wed a Wild Lord by Sabrina Jeffries is next on my list.
So many great books again

ReplyDeleteTo Wed a Wild Lord – Sabrina Jeffries
A Scottish Love – Karen Ranney
Sex, Lies and Mistletoe – Tawny Weber

ReplyDeleteOh boy! I'm going to print this list and send it to Santa. Better yet, I'll head to the mall and sit on hit lap and fill his ear! Happy Holidays, everyone. Getting excited? I am!
ReplyDeleteI haven`t had much time to read for pleasure, but I would definitely like to try `A Midsummer Night`s Sin` when I can.
ReplyDeleteThe two I am looking forward to reading are Fate's Edge by Ilona Andrews and Daybreak by Ellen Connor; both series have been very good so far.
ReplyDeleteRead To Wed A Wild Lord (and re-read it :)
ReplyDeleteI've done less reading than usual this month, although I have read four December 27 releases, all of which I loved. I'm currently reading Carla Kelly's new Christmas stories, and they are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI have read Sabrina Jeffries's To Wed a Wild Lord, which I think is the best book in a terrific series. And I seriously loved Hannah Harrington's YA Saving June. It's one of those novels that I think even those who don't usually read YA will appreciate. A Place Called Home – Jo Goodman, Head Over Heels – Jill Shalvis, and Sex, Lies and Mistletoe – Tawny Weber are all on my TBB list. And I have lots of Christmas ebooks still to read.
I didn't see it on your list, but How the Marquess Was Won by Julie Anne Long is being release on December 27. I'm looking forward to reading it.
ReplyDeleteI haven’t read any of them yet, but a bunch of them look good! Topping my list are To Wed a Wild Lord (Sabrina Jeffries,) Alien Proliferation (Gini Koch,) and Head over Heels (Jill Shalvis.)
