New Releases for May

Happy May, everyone! May is a very busy month at my house. It is filled with so many end-of-the-school-year activities and marks the start of our summer vacation. Because we are an American history loving family, our vacation this summer will be spent in Springfield, Illinois. My kids love anything and everything to do with Abraham Lincoln and are super excited! Do you have any special vacation plans this summer? If so, what?

I have not had a chance to read any May releases yet. Have you? If so, which May releases have you read? Of those, which ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Tell us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!

Until June, happy reading!

*** Please note: I will be at my youngest sister’s college graduation today. I’m so proud! Because it is out of town and I am driving there, I will respond to comments when I can. Thanks! ***

  5. I think the big news in May is that it is the month of Terri Osburn’s debut publication. I’m so excited about that! In addition to Meant to Be, I’ve already read and enjoyed the following:

The Mystery Woman – Amanda Quick
A Spear of Summer Grass – Deanna Raybourn
A Passion for Pleasure – Nina Rowan
Half Moon Hill – Toni Blake
Meant to Be – Terri Osburn
All He Ever Dreamed – Shannon Stacey
Barefoot in the Sun – Roxanne St. Claire
The Apple Orchard – Susan Wiggs
Wind Chime Point – Sherryl Woods

It may be a few months before I get all the May books on my list read since my budget dictates waiting for library copies of some hardbacks and trade paperbacks. All of these are on my TBR:

Tarnished Amongst the Ton – Louise Allen
Midnight Temptations with a Forbidden Lord – Tiffany Clare
True to the Law – Jo Goodman
Lord of Wicked Intentions – Lorraine Heath
Her Hesitant Heart – Carla Kelly
The Devil’s Heart – Cathy Maxwell
The Greatest of Sins – Christine Merrill
What a Lady Needs – Kasey Michaels
The Time of My Life – Cecelia Ahern
    Maya’s Notebook – Isabel Allende

Cowboy Take Me Away – Jane Graves
    Fly Away – Kristin Hannah
    Whisper’s Edge – LuAnn McLane
The Perfume Collector – Kathleen Tessaro
Roses in Moonlight – Lynn Kurland

I'm with you on the more money and more time, PJ. So many great books!

  23. Congratulations to your sister!

I'm so behind with everything, but I'm looking forward to most of the historicals, because I see some authors whose books I haven't read yet.

I've also recently been reading YA, so I'll check out some of them. Loki's Wolves sounds interesting.
