My kids and I are currently reading through the Harry
Potter series together. It is my son’s fourth time, my second time, and my
daughter’s first time. We are having a lot of fun reading and speaking like the
characters do! Have you read the Harry Potter series?
There are a bunch of September romances I am looking
forward to, including Anna Campbell’s A
Rake’s Midnight Kiss and Theresa Romain’s It Takes Two to Tangle.
Which September releases have you read? Of those, which
ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Tell
us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!
Until October, happy reading!

I can't wait to read Vivian Arend's "High Passion." I've read Katy Evans' "Real" and looking forward to its followup.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it, Jane!
DeleteAs usual, there are quite a few I'm looking forward to. Top of my list (and not listed above!!) is Jill Shalvis' Always On My Mind (book 8 of Lucky Harbor). I absolutely love that series!
ReplyDeleteI'm also highly anticipating: I Married the Duke – Katharine Ashe, The Trouble with Being a Duke – Sophie Barnes, A Rake’s Midnight Kiss – Anna Campbell, Say Yes to the Duke – Kieran Kramer, It Takes Two to Tangle – Theresa Romain, Dangerous Curves Ahead – Sugar Jamison, The Sweetheart Bargain – Shirley Jump, Geek Girls Don’t Date Dukes – Gina Lamm, Against the Ropes – Sarah Castille
Oh I'm sure there's more but I can't keep maxing out my TBR list so early in the month LOL
I love Jill's books, too, Ada. Love 'em. Have you read her Animal Magnetism series?
DeleteI sure have, Andrea! I can't wait for Rumor Has It. The release date seems soooo far away! Jill just doesn't seem to write a bad book!
DeleteI'm not sure how I forgot to put Jill on my list too. I'm not fully caught up on Lucky Harbor, that's my only excuse. :P
DeleteSo many good books this month! I haven't read any although I have the Theresa Romain book and Kait Ballenger in my pile already. I'm really looking forward to reading Katharine Ashe and Kieran Kramer. They're my go-to historical romance books. Lots of others I want to read but mostly those 2 lovely ladies!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy them, Anita! You'll have to let us know. ;-)
DeleteAnother month of great stories available. I haven't read any yet but I am looking forward to reading the stories out by Anna Campbell, Vivien Arend and Shiloh Walker to start with.
ReplyDeleteAnna is a must-buy for me, Maureen!!
DeleteLooking f'd to the LLM and Robyn Carr books.
ReplyDeletePatoct
I hope you enjoy, Pat!
Deleteanother month disappeared, alas the tbr pile hasn't ;) books coming out i'm looking forward to this month include A Rake’s Midnight Kiss – Anna Campbell and The Ruin of a Rogue – Miranda Neville along w/ a couple ebook releases Jennifer Ashley's The Untamed Mackenzie and Mina Carter's Blood Mate
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, gamistress. My TBR pile is OUT OF CONTROL. lol

Between a Mother and Her Child – Elizabeth Noble
The Good Wife – Jane Porter
The Wrong Girl – Hank Phillippi Ryan
The Song of the Quarkbeast – Jasper Fforde
The Burning Sky – Sherry Thomas
Deception Cove – Jayne Castle
Plus a dozen Harlequin titles, a half dozen mysteries, and at least three not on your list:Carly’s Gift by Georgia Bockoven, Gabriel by Grace Burrowes, and The Untamed Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley —you can see why September is stretching my time and my pocketbook. :)
Ada, the Shalvis is on my list too, as are another six or so September 24 releases, but TRD counts those as October releases, I believe. They will show up on next month's list.
Janga, I always look forward to reading your reviews!!
DeleteAhh good to know, Janga, thanks! I just had that one marked on my calendar lol
DeleteNever Desire a Duke by Lily Dalton and I Only Have Eyes For You by Bella Andre
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, jcp!
DeleteI seem to be in the mood for historicals lately, so what I am most looking forward to are these books:
ReplyDeleteI Married the Duke – Katharine Ashe
The Arrangement – Mary Balogh
True Spies – Shana Galen
That happens to me, too, Cheryl. Sometimes I just crave historicals and only historicals. :)
DeleteI've already read The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas and it's very good. The first book reminded me in many ways of the original Star Wars Trilogy. If your kids like Harry Potter, then you should give this a try. Mary Balogh's book, The Arrangement, is only $1.99 at e-retailers, so I just purchased it. Finally, I may try Theresa Romain's and Shana Galen's new books. They sound interesting.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, thanks for the rec, Kim! I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

I just finished Mary Balogh's and Victoria Robert's newest and enjoyed both of them very much. I'm really looking forward to the historicals the most with a few others for variety.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for Lori Foster- Getting Rowdy
ReplyDeleteSharon Sala- Going Once
I read the 1st 4 Harry Potter books when my son was younger, but they got too long & too dark after that, so we stopped. I have read The Trouble With Being a Duke & that was a great story. I have some of the others in a TBR. Happy September!
ReplyDeleteI picked up a copy of Styxx, but now have to find time to read it. Lol. :)
ReplyDeleteHave Read:
ReplyDeleteThe Hero – Robyn Carr
Plaid to the Bone - Mia Marlowe (wasn't on your list but was a fabulous book...with the kilted hero on the cover)
Want to Read:
The Arrangement – Mary Balogh (I'm almost done with The Proposal now so this is up next)
I Married the Duke – Katharine Ashe
The Trouble with Being a Duke – Sophie Barnes
A Rake’s Midnight Kiss – Anna Campbell
True Spies – Shana Galen
Flirting with Fortune – Erin Knightley
Say Yes to the Duke – Kieran Kramer
A Most Devilish Rogue – Ashlyn Macnamara
The Ruin of a Rogue – Miranda Neville
It Takes Two to Tangle – Theresa Romain
Unraveled by the Rebel – Michelle Willingham
So many great Historicals out this month!
Marcy Shuler
bmndshuler(at)hotmail(dot)com
And how could I forget THE UNTAMED MACKENZIE by Jennifer Ashley? I can't wait to read this book as I love this series!
DeleteMarcy Shuler
Great list--thanks. The only one I've read so far is Jennifer Estep's Heart of Venom, which I really enjoyed. I'm planning to read several others, including:
ReplyDeleteW is for Wasted – Sue Grafton
Declan’s Cross – Carla Neggers
The Ruin of a Rogue – Miranda Neville, and
Sometimes a Rogue – Mary Jo Putney
As usual, All the Historicals are of interest. There just aren't enough days to read all the good books on the lists.
ReplyDeleteI married a Duke is on my list , as well as Geek girls don't date Dukes. Looking forward to reading Say Yes to the Duke...
ReplyDeleteI guess it's now obvious that I have a weakness for Dukes ;)
We need to slow the months down so I have some chance of catching up.
ReplyDeleteI re-read the HAARY POTTER books not long ago.
I have so many books on my tbr pile, I don't know which one to choose next..I have so many historical books to read, I might just to a month of historical reading only to put a dent in them.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Sherry Thomas' YA novel!
