New Releases for January

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday ushering in 2014. Our family had a great Christmas—the kids got all they asked for. And of course, I got several gift cards for Barnes & Noble that I will put to good use in the upcoming months. J I’ll start with this month as there are several I am looking forward to, including, Boots under Her Bed anthology (I love Jo Goodman’s books), Hope Flames by Jaci Burton, Secrets for Seducing a Royal Bodyguard by Vanessa Kelly, and The Greatest Lover Ever by Christina Brooke.

Which January releases have you read? Of those, which ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Tell us and one lucky commenter will win a random book from my prize stash!

  3. I haven't read any of t hese yet, I got gift cards for Christmas but haven't had time to sit down and get an order together. I love my Kindle but this whole instant gratification spoils you when the books you want aren't out yet.

  13. I’m really behind on my reading. I’ve read only If Wishes Were Earls, Elizabeth Boyle; How to Master Your Marquis, Juliana Grey; Boots under Her Bed, Jodi Thomas, Jo Goodman, Kaki Warner, Alison Kent; More than a Touch, Alexis Morgan; Sweetest Mistake, Candis Terry; Everywhere She Goes, Janice Kay Johnson; Sweet Nothings, Kim Law; Snow Day, Shannon Stacey, Jennifer Greene, and Barbara Dunlop; and The Fireside Inn, Lily Everett, all of which I enjoyed. I have almost fifty books on my list for January, so I still have some major reading to do. I’m especially looking forward to The Greatest Lover Ever, Christina Brooke; Secrets for Seducing a Royal Bodyguard, Vanessa Kelly, When the Rogue Returns, Sabrina Jeffries; and Lily Everett’s other Sanctuary Island stories. Some of the books I am most eagerly anticipating this month are not romances: Return to Tradd Street, Karen White; The Invention of Wings, Sue Monk Kidd; The Dead in Their Vaulted Arches, Alan Bradley; and Lost Lake, Sarah Addison Allen.

This is a timely discussion for me since I’m working on my blog post for tomorrow on the books I’ll be reading January through June of 2014.
