Designing Debutantes - Book 1
Publisher: Zebra Books
Release Date: May 24, 2022
A successful debut requires a smashing social event, and in this dazzling new series from New York Times bestselling author Sabrina Jeffries, the key ingredient is Elegant Occasions—a talk of the ton trio of creative, enterprising young ladies who’ve rejected working as governesses to become party planners. And if they, and their wealthy clients, happen to find love along the way, it just makes their efforts more rewarding . . .
Self-made civil engineer Geoffrey Brookhouse has unexpectedly inherited the dukedom of Grenwood. But he has a secret that could ruin his family. Hoping to save his timid sister from that fate, he seeks to marry her off to a respectable, protective gentleman. With the London Season imminent, Geoffrey hires Elegant Occasions to orchestrate her debut. Yet Lady Diana Harper, spirited fashion expert, proves more than he bargained for. Suddenly, Geoffrey’s sister is emerging from her shell, and he is beleaguered with social invitations and gossip! Worse, Diana is attempting to transform him into a presentable duke—when all he really wants is to make her his own . . .
Diana doesn’t know what to make of the handsome, disheveled duke. The man bristles at the very idea that his fashion faux pas might spoil his sister’s chances. Yet Geoffrey’s stubbornness simply inspires Diana to ruffle his feathers—by setting him on a course of self-improvement. Although there’s something endearing, even irresistible about his flaws, can a man who hates the ton tolerate a woman who makes her living catering to them? Little does either know that they have more in common than they suspect—and that two can create a society all their own . . .
After bringing her Duke Dynasty series to a satisfying conclusion, Sabrina Jeffries is off to new adventures with a trio of Regency era party planners and the gentlemen who catch their eyes and capture their hearts.

I love that she is ruffling his feathers! This sounds like a fun book to read. A makeover for the sister but the Duke is going to be epic.ReplyDelete
Even though I don't have a favorite Sabrina Jeffries book, I've loved each one that I've read. I'd say her Duke Dynasty series is my favorite. I appreciate a good story where the man needs to 'spruce up' his physical appearance to fit in to society. I really love ones with smart women who aren't afraid to show their intelligence.ReplyDelete
I have read her. My favorite series is The Hellions of Halstead Hall.ReplyDelete
I've read many of Sabrina's books - favorite series is probably School for Heiresses. She's one of the authors I want to read all her books.ReplyDelete
One of my must-read authors! I enjoyed the Duke Dynasty series, but I look forward to any Christmas anthology with a Sabrina Jeffries story.ReplyDelete
Yes, I definitely enjoy her stories. I can't pick favorite books any more than children lol. They are all my favorite while I'm reading them.ReplyDelete
I would love to read a print copyReplyDelete
I love her books and my favorite is usually what I'm reading at the time. Thanks for the chance.ReplyDelete
I've always liked Sabrina Jeffries's books. Most recently I read Stormswept, which I really enjoyed, and I think the idea of the hero needing "sprucing up" is endearing in itself! I'd love to add A Duke for Diana to the top of my TBR list.ReplyDelete
We are visiting friends and I haven't got the time difference figured out yet, so this will likely be too late.ReplyDelete
The School for Heiresses is a favorite series and Beware a Scot's Revenge the favorite in the series.
The makeover story line can be fun to read. If done well, whether it is a successful makeover or one that doesn't go quite as planned, it can be fun.
