New Releases for May

Hello, all! I can’t believe May is already here! It seems like only yesterday that my kids were getting out of school last May, and now they are again. And this year is an emotional one as it’s my daughter’s last year of elementary school. I’ve had a child in that school for the last ten years, and I’m not handling “the end” very well.

Speaking of “the end,” I have decided it is time to hang up my blogger and reviewer hat. With everything I have going on with my kids and all of their many activities, work, and my family (both sisters getting married this year), I feel like I need to give my full attention to them. I am sad to be leaving my sweet friend, PJ, and the rest of my TRD family, but I know it’s for the best. I am so grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful blog with PJ, Buffie, and Gannon. I will never forget the memorable times we shared both in person and in cyberspace. I am also grateful for our terrific team of reviewers: Hellie, Janga, J, Lisa, and Nancy. And I am so grateful to you, our dear readers, for all your support throughout the years. It means more than you know.  So, my friends, I will say good-bye…for now. I will miss you all!

This may be my last New Releases post, but I’m still curious--which May releases have you read? Of those, which ones do you recommend? Which ones are you most looking forward to reading? Which books are you looking forward to in the coming months? Tell us and FOUR lucky commenters will each win a “good-bye” package of books and goodies from my prize stash! (U.S. addresses only.)

Happy reading!

  1. Hi Andrea, I'm sad to hear this is the end of your blogging time with the Dish! I'll miss all your insightful reviews but it's totally understandable that your family comes first. Wishing you all the best with the next chapter in life and hope you'll pop in to visit TRD! {{hugs}}

    As for the new May releases, I haven't had a chance to read any yet but Susan Mallery's Hold Me, Sophie Barnes' Lady Sarah’s Sinful Desires and Lorraine Heathe's The Duke and the Lady in Red heads my wish list.

  7. I just got done reading A GOOD ROGUE IS HARD TO FIND, and it was quite compelling and fun...so I imagine a lot of other readers will find it that way as well.

  8. Andrea, you are far too young and valuable to retire!!

    It is not unknown for people to make comebacks or occasional 'guest appearances' so I have not lost all hope. *wink*
    Meantime, may your God go with you whatever path you follow.

    On the May releases, I just downloaded Mary Jo Putney's audio 'Not Always a Saint', released 1st May. She is an auto-buy for me.
    The e-book is not released until later I think, so not on your list!

  18. Oh NO! I'll miss your posts Andrea! I do understand though, family can definitely keep you busy!

    I don't officially own any of the books yet, but I've pre ordered a few. I got drawn into reading some books that had been on my Kindle (app) for awhile. (The only good thing about my device starting it's trip into the great electronic junkyard was the need to clean out my kindle for space to make it survive longer. :-) )
