Hunk for the Holidays
By Katie Lane

Always putting business before pleasure, Cassie McPherson works hard for her family's construction business. That might explain why she doesn't have a date for the company Christmas party. But it doesn't quite explain why she's crazy enough to hire an escort for the event or - crazier still - why she's dying to unwrap him like a present . . .

With whiskey-colored eyes and a killer smile, James is one gorgeous hunk who really knows how to fill out a tuxedo. He charms everyone, including Cassie. And when the night ends, the party doesn't stop. As Cassie falls, literally, into his bed, James falls head over heels in love. Now he has to figure out a way to tell her the truth: he's not an escort. He's her family's fiercest business rival. But all he wants for Christmas is her . . .

Season for Surrender
By Theresa Romain

Honor Among Rogues

Alexander Edgware, Lord Xavier, has quite a reputation—for daring, wagering, and wickedness in all its delightful forms. But the wager before him is hardly his preferred sport: Xavier must persuade a proper young lady to attend his famously naughty Christmas house party—and stay the full, ruinous two weeks. Worse, the lady is Louisa Oliver, a doe-eyed bookworm Xavier finds quite charming. Yet to refuse the challenge is impossible—he will simply have to appoint himself Miss Oliver’s protector…

Mischief Among Misses

Louisa knows her chance for a husband has passed. But she has no desire to retire into spinsterhood without enjoying a few grand adventures first. When Lord Xavier’s invitation arrives, Louisa is more intrigued than insulted. And once inside the rogues’ gallery, she just may have a thing or two to teach her gentlemen friends about daring…

  1. So many great books, Andrea!

I've already read Seven Nights in a Rogue's Bed, the best in Anna Campbell's career IMO, and I say that as an AC fan from her first book. I've also read and loved His Mistletoe Bride and Season for Surrender and Sweet Laurel Falls. A Notorious Countess Confesses by Julie Anne Long and Tempting the Bride, the conclusion to Sherry Thomas's Fitzhugh trilogy are both wonderful books. I'm still looking forward to a new book from Suzanne Enoch and to more of Debbie Macomber's angels.

I'm looking forward to Katharine Ashe's How a Lady Weds a Rogue, Marni Bates's Decked with Holly, Maya Rodale's novella Three Schemes and a Scandal (been DYING for Charlotte's story!) and the last book in her Writing Girls series Seducing Mr. Knightly. (though technically I think it's a Nov. book).

  5. I still have a few vacation days left to take before the end of the year and after seeing these books I'd better take them in October!

Be honest now and admit the choice is much to hard to decide which of them to read - so I'll just have to read them ALL!

How about you? What would you rather do? Work or Read? Yup, I knew you'd agree!
