Clear the (Book) Shelves Giveaway

I took a hard look at my bookcases this weekend. There are many - many - great books coming out over the next few months and...well...I just don't have room for them. So you know what that means. Yep, it's time to clean the shelves. Again. Apparently Mother Nature agreed. Instead of luring me to the pool, she gave me a lovely rainy day to hole up in the office and put together some book packages ready to be re-homed. Are you excited? I am!

For a chance to win one of SIX book packages, tell me..

What are you reading?

Have you discovered any new-to-you authors this summer?

What upcoming books are you most looking forward to reading?

Six people who post a comment before 11:00 PM, August 17 will each receive a package of books from my shelves.

*U.S. only
*Must be 18
*Void where prohibited

  3. This is really nice of you, PJ! I finished A Man Called Ove a few weeks ago and really liked it. I discovered Melanie Dickerson, who is a young adult Christian romance author; her books are similar to the sweet romances of the late 1960s. I also am reading and helping my sister edit her second Christian romance. Her third book will be the romance story of my grandmother and Danish grandfather.

  42. I just finished an Amish Spinster's Courtship by Emma Miller. My next read will likely be A Man Of Legend by Linda Broday. It finishes a trilogy that is part of a family saga featuring 3 connected series. I have read and enjoyed them all.
One of the books sent in a package by you, Emily & Einstein by Linda Francis Lee, has my interest and will likely be next in line. She is a new to me author and the story sounds like one that will touch my heart.
It seems the only time I have to read lately is while I am having my infusions. That is only 3 hours for 2 days every three weeks. Not nearly enough. I am behind on so many things around the house I feel there really isn't the time to read. More incentive to get those projects done. One of which is going through my book shelves and sending books to the local VA hospital and women's jail.
