  4. There are a lot of fabulous books coming out in November and I'm polishing up my glasses in anticipation of reading them.

November means I must start thinking of Christmas and working on a shopping list. In addition, it - hopefully - will mean we can turn off the A/C and enjoy some fresh, dry air here in Florida.

I'm thankful for so many things. The good health of family and friends is key. I'm thankful for the love of my three kitties and I am also thankful for the many wonderful people out there who give so much of their time to help animals. I want to thank all of the wonderful authors out there who write the fabulous novels that provide me with so much entertainment. You all rock!

  7. I love this month. It is the one time of the year that I get to see all my brothers. In 3 weeks the 2 from
Florida will arrive. Then on Wednesday the kids and my other 2 brothers will get in. It is all about family. We sit and tell stories of growing up. My kids never knew their grandfather. Good food, football, grilling and if the Grizzles are in town, we hit the basketball game. I am already putting on my happy face. I don't do as much reading because I get restless. Looking forward to all your posts.

  9. I always anticipate any Grace Burrowes book! I'm glad Sharlene mentioned Jennifer McQuiston's upcoming book too. I had that one preordered ages ago! I am looking forward to having the kids home for a few days for Thanksgiving even if they'll be distracted over upcoming finals.

  11. I am looking forward to a trip with our daughter's family.
I am remembering two other Novembers, one I was awaiting the birth of our first child (the daughter we will be traveling with) and the other awaiting the birth of our last child, a son, who decided to arrive on Thanksgiving Day.
I am thankful for the relative good health of my husband, my children, their families, and myself. We all have our aches and pains, but nothing serious except for one son-in-law. This compared to my youngest brother being diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year and my youngest sister being diagnosed with lymphoma just this past week.

I hope you all enjoy the upcoming holidays.
