  8. I'm expecting a package today with five of these. Courtney Milan's Proof by Seduction is the only one I've already read, but I'm eager to read the new Balogh, Robyn Carr's Forbidden Falls, Barbara O'Neal's The Secret of Everything, and Susan Crandall's Sleep No More. And that's just the early January releases. I have Laura Kinsale's Lessons in French on my January list (Jan. 26) because it makes reading it seem closer than if I put it with the February releases--and I am so excited about a new Kinsale! LOL

  12. I think Highland Angel by Hannah Howell is a reprint. It was originally published in 2003.

I can't wait to read Reese's Bride by Kat Martin, Matter of Class by Mary Balogh, How I Met My Countess by Elizabeth Boyle, and Highlander's Forbidden Bride by Donna Fletcher. Several others of course but those I have been anxiously waiting on.

25 romance books! Wow, how does he know which ones to get? Do you keep a list for him?

  13. AAACK! My TBR pile is now going to be a mountain!!

I haven't read any of these new releases, but I do have 4 or 5 of them waiting for me at my fave little bookstore. I just need to pop up to Cedar Rapids to get them (45 min. drive). I am looking forward to Melissa Mayhue's new one. She is the author who has intrigued me with the Fae/Faerie people. There are a lot of good ones being released, aren't there?!

When did Carole Mortimer start writing historicals? Is this the same CM who is a Harlequin Presents author?

  14. Another I'm really looking forward to--and hoping to find when I go to the city tomorrow or Wednesday to use my Christmas gift card at B & N--is Chalice of Roses by Jo Beverley, Mary Jo Putney, Barbara Samuel, and Karen Harbaugh. I loved Faery Magic and enjoyed Dragon Lovers, so I'm eager to see these four authors' treatment of the Grail legend.
