  4. My husband got me a kindle for Christmas and I have been waiting for this list to try it out! Now so many choices....... a few familiar authors but any recommendations Ladies?
BTW Happy New Year and Happy Reading to You All!

  5. Thank you again for this useful post !
I'm reading the last Sarah Mayberry Blaze right now (Her ecret Fling) and so far it's very very good.
I'm particularly looking forward reading Forbidden Fall and the last Tracy Anne Warren.

  6. Hi Andrea, What a great list, I am still making my way through some December releases, 25 romance novels under my Xmas tree, LOL!

Mary Balogh is one release I am really looking forward to! Love her books!
Oooo. And anything with 'Highlander' in the title, LOL!

  7. I haven't read any of these yet, but I'm sooo looking forward to Bone Magic and Wicked Enchantment!

  8. I'm expecting a package today with five of these. Courtney Milan's Proof by Seduction is the only one I've already read, but I'm eager to read the new Balogh, Robyn Carr's Forbidden Falls, Barbara O'Neal's The Secret of Everything, and Susan Crandall's Sleep No More. And that's just the early January releases. I have Laura Kinsale's Lessons in French on my January list (Jan. 26) because it makes reading it seem closer than if I put it with the February releases--and I am so excited about a new Kinsale! LOL

  9. I'm looking forward to Courtney's and Beverley's, too, Jane!

    Thanks, Dorthy! Happy reading!

Congrats on getting a Kindle, Cyndi! Hmmm, recs.... Well, I can recommend Carrie Lofty's Scoundrel's Kiss and I've never read an Elizabeth Boyle that I didn't enjoy. ;-)

  10. Emmanuelle, I have Sarah Mayberry's on my TBB list that I'm taking to the bookstore tomorrow. Anna Campbell and Beverley Kendall have raved about her books, so I must try them out!

Wow, Drew! 25 romance novels under your tree?! You are a lucky woman!

  11. I hope you enjoy those, Rosa!

LOL, Janga! What a clever idea! I will have Laura Kinsale's newest in next month's list. ;-)

  12. I think Highland Angel by Hannah Howell is a reprint. It was originally published in 2003.

I can't wait to read Reese's Bride by Kat Martin, Matter of Class by Mary Balogh, How I Met My Countess by Elizabeth Boyle, and Highlander's Forbidden Bride by Donna Fletcher. Several others of course but those I have been anxiously waiting on.

25 romance books! Wow, how does he know which ones to get? Do you keep a list for him?

  13. AAACK! My TBR pile is now going to be a mountain!!

I haven't read any of these new releases, but I do have 4 or 5 of them waiting for me at my fave little bookstore. I just need to pop up to Cedar Rapids to get them (45 min. drive). I am looking forward to Melissa Mayhue's new one. She is the author who has intrigued me with the Fae/Faerie people. There are a lot of good ones being released, aren't there?!

When did Carole Mortimer start writing historicals? Is this the same CM who is a Harlequin Presents author?

  14. Another I'm really looking forward to--and hoping to find when I go to the city tomorrow or Wednesday to use my Christmas gift card at B & N--is Chalice of Roses by Jo Beverley, Mary Jo Putney, Barbara Samuel, and Karen Harbaugh. I loved Faery Magic and enjoyed Dragon Lovers, so I'm eager to see these four authors' treatment of the Grail legend.

  15. Awesome! I have more than a few of those books on my list. I'm particularly looking forward to Beverley Kedall's new release, How I Met My Countess -- Elizabeth Boyle, and Seduced by a Rogue -- Amanda Scott. ^^

  16. Another terrific month for new releases! Andrea, thanks for all your hard work in compiling such a comprehensive list. It makes my buying so much easier!

I've already read a few of the January releases:

Sinful Surrender by Beverley Kendall (Wonderful!)
Proof by Seduction by Courtney Milan (Wonderful!)
Forbidden Falls by Robyn Carr (Currently reading and loving)
Shattered by Joan Johnston (Love her Bitter Creek series!)
Half Past Dead - Anthology (Zoe Archer's "The Undying Heart" is captivating and has me excited about the single titles in this series coming out in the fall.)

It's so wonderful to have Laura Kinsale writing again and Lessons in French is a keeper! Laura will be visiting with us here at The Romance Dish on February 4th when she will be interviewed by the very talented Anna Campbell.

  17. I'm looking forward to Sinful Surrender and Proof by Seduction.

  18. What a fantastic list there are a couple there I am really looking forward to Beverley Kendall's Sinful Surrender and Courtney Milan's Proof Of Seduction and I will have to get Jude Deveraux's new historical I loved all of her historicals.

They slip by me too, which is why I have several dupes and in some cases triples. People at work love me, they get free books.

I agree with Buffie, Andrea. You picked some beautiful covers!

  25. So far I've read:
How I Met My Countess -- Elizabeth Boyle and Proof by Seduction -- Courtney Milan and enjoyed both throughly. I have Shades of Midnights -- Lara Adrian and what seems to be about 1/2 the Historical list either loaded on the Kindle or in the TBR pile just waiting for me to dive in!
